Out in deep space, a Weyland-Yutani space probe finds and investigates the wreckage of the USCSS Nostromo, retrieving a small organic object. Transferred into a larger vessel, the object is opened and part of it removed from the room; the other part is focused on, revealing the shape of a Xenomorph within.
